  1. I mean this is all good, but I hope Saka takes it better than OP. That is even considering that the 31 year old who wrote the article for wetbabe.com or whatever did write it in a fair manner.

  2. But people say things and the things they’ve said doesn’t match up with these stats, surely the stats are wrong!

This cannot be true, how could a dedicated, professional young man be so consistent in the top tiers of European football, and at such a young age have these stats?

This cannot be true, surely, somebody mathed the maths wrongingly!

  3. I don’t mind Pires saying he wants Saka to be more consistent. I disagree with Pires, but he’s entitled to his own perspective on what that means.

What I don’t like, and quite frankly don’t understand, is his insistence that Doku is better and somehow more consistent. What metric is he using? What’s the basis?

  4. I don’t want to be that guy, but most people don’t understand here that to win the league, you need more than consistency.

The last time we won the league was because of Henry, and it wasn’t just that Henry was exceptional but his mentality as well.

That French arrogance and his mentality was on par with Michael Jordan.

Please watch the Netflix documentary of Jordan’s the last dance and you will understand what kind of players you need to win the league, and Henry was on par with him.

Saka needs to elevate himself on another level, saka with his current level won’t help us to win the league. I know he is trying but saka is the STAR of arsenal and just because managers pin you down with 2-3 players doesn’t give him a reason to say that his current performance is good.

The doku comparison is just stupid but Saka needs to elevate himself on two more level then only we can win the league, it’s same for nelli as well.

I am hoping that sterling will actually push Saka to that level.

Just watch arteta, pep talk about sterling who subbed him off because he missed silly sitters.

Arteta couldn’t do it to saka because we didn’t have that backup, but I am hoping he can do the same to saka what pep and arteta did to sterling where he gets punished for missing those chances.

Bellerin was also an amazing player who reached the peak very early, but he didn’t have a proper competition to push him to next level and his progress suffered as debuchy was injured and sagna left.

Saka seemed on the similar path, I am hoping that sterling can change that.

I am hoping that I won’t be downvoted for having a different opinion but well..

  5. Saka doesn’t dribble through 3-4 players, he doesn’t score worldie bicycle kick, he doesn’t spam 5 star skill move. Everything he does is basic pass/cross/shoot/movement that anyone can do consistency is the key here. He makes people feel like yeah those shits are simple every footballer can do, every winger should/can be him but why not everyone is him?

A bit disappointed at Pires with those comment, I understand a common football Joe would say this. But a legend of the game like Pires. Ngl a little bit of respect is lost.

  6. I’ve said it once and I will say it again I don’t care about those people who don’t rate saka because honestly they won’t appreciate him even after he wins trophies and breaks records literally look at the likes of salah. At the end of the day he’s always appreciated by the fans and that’s all that matters

Nah mate, Doku is more consistent.

….. Honestly, that shite came out of Pires mouth, he’s tarnishing his legacy here now spouting that kind of dribble

I truly still think theres a next level he can reach… that doesn’t involve skill/shot/decision improvement/// i think hes got that down… the improvement needs to come in MENTALITY.

Americans would call it.. :the killer instinct.

Pep describes how a prime Messi would ATTACK ATTACK and ATTACK, whether he had the ball or off the ball ; Messi was sprinting towards a dangerous position , aggressively , sniffing out the goal or assist….

Saka is at times is a bit complacent to me..
Sure I understand he cannot go at players every single time he touches the ball… but there is several times when he gets the ball in a good position against a guy he can easily beat 1v1 9/10… and he pauses… pauses. scanss… and plays it back! It makes me lose my shit!! hes a strong kid, fast, and skilled; 90% of LB’s out there he can take on!! Great #’s and great player, but to be legendary hes got to make that jump.
