Real Madrid C. F. and Andriy Lunin have agreed to extend our player's contract, which is linked to the club until June 30, 2030.

Lunin arrived at Real Madrid in 2018, at the age of 19, and has been part of the first team since 2020. In his career defending the Real Madrid jersey, he has won 10 titles: 2 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 2 European Super Cups, 2 Leagues, 1 King's Cup and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

Lunin is international with Ukraine, a selection with which he has participated in the 2024 German Euro Cup. And he is a candidate to win the Yashin Trophy for the best goalkeeper of the 2023-2024 season, in which his performances were essential for Real Madrid to achieve all three titles: Champions League, League and Super Cup of Spain.

  1. Wow it’s 5 year extension. Lunin is going to fight it out with Courtois or die trying. He must have insider info about the extent of Courtois ACL injury to consider his chances of replacing him.

  2. I expect there to be some guarantees for playtime in the contract, otherwise it makes no sense for Lunin. And tbf he deserves it for how well he stepped up last season.
