Hull City 0 – 2 Sheffield United: In the majority of play there was little to separate these two sides, so it was left to two quick Blades counterattacks to settle the tie, meaning the wait for Hull’s first win goes on!

1) Still incredibly sloppy all over the pitch, still trusting this gets better with time.
2) Corner routines are shit, long and short.
3) Giles looks like me when I’ve been dragged to 5’s, looks uninterested as fuck.
4) If you’re booing after week 5 give your head a wobble.
Still not too worried, mid table with something to build on would be fine this season if Acun doesn’t get bored first. There are moments where we beat the press and look great, and then it falls apart.
Unrelated to the rest of the season; how the fuck wasn’t that kid sent off lmao.

Hull look a weird side. Lost their goalscorers, so they progress fast but look toothless. Then that speed of transition exposes them. A good 2-0 win but we should’ve been much more clinical and had chances to batter them in truth.

I don’t care what anyone says. We had a strategy to play counter attack football and we played the strategy masterfully hence we took the 3 points. We’re 5 games unbeaten (excluding cup) and for the first time this year I’m proud of being a blade ⚔️

Felt like Hull gifted them that. Definite red at the end.

Absolutely gutted to have way less corners, be massively out possessed, and have half the amount of passes that Hull did.
I guess the 3 points will be a small consolation

Hull look a lot like we did under JDT at times last season. Decision making in the final third leaving much to be desired as they don’t have a secret Szmodics

That was horrible to watch.
Started the game ok. The rotations of play aren’t working. All it’s doing is putting players in positions they’re entirely ineffective. We had a small spell while Kasey Palmer was at the base of midfield passing it about to Millar while McCloughlin was stood in the number 10 doing absolutely nothing. What’s the point?

When they said Walter’s matches in Germany averaged 3 goals a game I didn’t think they meant they’d all be in our net.

Solid performance from us, looked great on the counter, Moore not really doing much up front, Gilchrist very lucky to only get a yellow.

Reckon we just need to avoid winning corners and we may avoid relegation

Not sure the owner will be keeping the new bloke for too long based on what happened with Rosenior

I like the Hull manager – straightforward talking + passion in his Sky interview.

We’ve quickly gone from full-backs joining midfield in possession to Hull’s keeper joining their back line in possession, considering how often the ball was getting turned over I’m amazed he spent so long up the pitch
If we’d have harvested Coventry a bit more and got Gyokeres instead of Moore it could have been about 5 in the first half with how open they left themselves

It’s like watching a team of lads who’ve just met for the first time play 90 minutes with that passing, just awful. Only started looking decent in the last 30 minutes and that was down to Millar mostly

Hull looked very open, too open against a side with Sheff Utd’s quality. Luckily for them they come to charity fc next week

Well that was an awful game to watch in the stadium as a hull fan, both goals was gifts but their was only 1 team that deserved to win it in the end and it wasn’t us

How did hull look most vulnerable at their attacking corners. Madness always trying to play it short especially at the corner when Souza was off the pitch
