Maybe I’m wrong, but doesn’t Arnautovic being offside have an effect on the play? Would definitely be called back for Juve

Ik we should focus more on what juve could improve on, instead of just always pointing fingers at inter, but c’mon. Not to mention the ref not giving advantage to Monza when Pessina is 1 on 1 with Sommer

  2. not really, even if it’s very similar to Bonucci against Salernitana (even if Bonucci wasn’t on offside for the reason we all know but whatever).

In that case Bonucci didn’t touch ball even if he tried. Arnautovic in this case goes towards the ball. he’s not close enough but he’s definitely interested to play, he’s not going back. The goalkeep can be distracted half second to see if Arna can get to the ball so he’s late on Dumfires BUT i think this is normal for this type of action. Bonucci was in passive offside (if Candreva wouldn’t exist) and Arnautivic is too.

  3. Who cares, but it definitely should be an offside because the keeper would have went to 100% turned to defend the back post if he wasn’t in position for a shot!

He showed no intention to play the ball and defender actions wasnt influenced by him so its corrct goal.

  5. I was watching live and thinking exactly same thing – for us goal would be disallowed I’m sure 😀

Was he taking attention from goalie – 100%. You can even see he is adjusting his position for potential shot from Arnautovic.
On other games how it would be ruled – hard to tell as this rule is very arbitrary in execution.
