More evidence to the point that perhaps if Branthwaite is the solution to our defensive issues, we might be alright this season.

Very cool. With ndiaye looking good and dcl looking dangerous (even with the finishing not being great, he’s on 2 goals already and been in great positions) it’s such a shame we couldn’t get a right winger over the line, our attack would be looking really solid. Doubt we do but if we can get one in January that’d be incredible

Definitely doing a great job in that 10 role. It’s even more impressive with the tiny amount of opportunities he’s given in the game.

His lack of pace seems to impact him a lot less in the middle and he has a brilliant eye for a through-ball. Fair play to the lad I was happy to write him off after we got Ndiaye

The issue is that even having a player playing just off the striker seems to make us terribly easy to play through in the middle
Need Garner back in there I think, Tim doesn’t quite have the defensive side figured out yet and Gana is 35 in a week or so

That’s a good stat. He was too slow for the wing but central he has time to move with the ball and pass it about. We just need to sort out our defence asap. I hope Branthwaite makes an instant impact but it will be a lot of pressure on his shoulders.
