Comparatively to the other PL clubs in the (very limited sample size of) 4 games so far, Utd are doing very good in creating quality chances (see: Zirkzee misses, Garnacho/Bruno v Fulham), a lot better in defence (low shots against – big improvement from this time last season) as well as possession (54% average) being better.
Still very much a ‘mid table’ team in terms of goals/shots/xG against, PPDA and field tilt (good possession in opponents half).

PPDA is worrying, but losing Mount and Casemiro’s legs are a big handicap on the press. Too early to look at xG, but coupled with field tilt and possession kinda explains our issues.
We are creating chances but not from sustained control of the game.
