My team for Atalanta if we only get Rice back from the Tottenham game with no other absences
Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Saka, Partey, Rice, Sterling; Havertz, Trossard
Give some more minutes off the bench to Jesus, Jorginho, Timber, Martinelli and Nwaneri for whoever needs rest ahead of City
It was only Spu*s but I hope Arteta has answered his critics on being tactically adaptable when faced with adversity. Such a great gameplan and I think everyone played their part well. This team (refreshingly) has no luxury players and that’s by far our biggest strength and main reason for our excellent defensive record.
As for those criticising over reliance on set pieces, it’s been a common theme for the last 3 years so clearly it’s sustainable at this point and a massive advantage to have when missing key attacking personnel. The objective should be to win the games, not score the most goals. Case in point: City only having a goal difference of 3 over us despite scoring 5 more goals, having had better starting fixtures.
This team really is greater than the sum of its parts. Looking forward to having Rice, Ødegaard, and Merino back in the starting XI. Vamos!
Is there a timeline for Calafiori’s return?
Feels good to be a Big Gabi Gang member right now. My guy’s getting his plaudits and long may it continue.

Arteta’s evolution as a manager is so underrated and not talked about enough. There used to be memes of him holding his head with the caption “What would Pep do here?”.
I think back to the game two years ago when we lost 3-1 to Man Utd despite dominating the game and it felt like ETH had out thought Mikel and made tweaks in the match to nullify our game plan.
Two years on and I cannot imagine ETH being able to out manovre us. We have players doing different roles within games and constant rotating of positions, not to mention the continued development of players like Saka and Havertz. Long may it continue because he’s slowly but surely eliminating any weaknesses he has as a manager.
So we are playing an away CL fixture on Thursday night and then City in less than 48 hours. Why do they schedule a big game after a CL match?
When Teta gets an elite DLP that can actually run….the league ain’t ready
Seen some people brushing off the mid week game. Atlanta is gonna be a really tough game, you’d be a fool to think it’s gonna be easy.
Coming to London in December. Trying to catch a game, wats the most legit way to buy tickets?
Um, why are we playing on Thursday? We are in the fuckin’ champions league. I don’t like this new format, they are just trying to ruin the beautiful game for more money.
Need Nwaneri Sterling Jesus starting against Atalanta
Anyone who hasn’t already heard the new Arsecast that dropped yesterday should do themselves a favour, even if its just for the last 5 or so minutes at the end where James reads #angeout tweets. Made me lol, pure comedy.
Does it make you a plastic if you enjoyed winning the North London Derby?

I swear the people on that app make this place seem sane at times.
