Out of 96 teams in Europe’s top 5 leagues, Everton currently sit rock bottom. The worst start of any team from Europe’s top 5 leagues.

I think this season might be sunset for the Toffees. To be fair to them though, they always somehow survive relegation.

Are Holstein Kiel out of their cup too? We know Southampton got through.

Is the misery EVEN bigger for the Ev?

They have survived relegation so often recently but they look an absolutely dire outfit this year. Would be surprised to see them conjure anything to stay up

  4. Christ, that’s sad.

Seeing a stadium like their new one potentially playing championship football will be something.

  5. I feel really sorry for Evertonians…. Oh wait, no I don’t. Hahaha 🤞🏻 this is the year their luck runs out

They’ll survive, they have had an abysmal start but have given up a 2 goal lead 3 times. They’ve clearly got goals in them

Bookies still have them at just ~35% to go down, with all newly promoted teams having a higher chance. They’re like a cockroach in these scenarios, just can’t get rid of them.

  8. Normally getting relegated would prob be the best thing that could happen to them…

Sadly if they do go down they may very well go bust if they can’t come back up immediately. Which would be absolutely horrible for the city and all the split families that populate it.

Rather see them do well, albeit always below us, than some club that poverty/tragedy chants against us constantly. Hope they get their shit figured out someday.

  9. You could make an argument that Southamptons start is worse as they’ve only scored one goal even if their GD is 1 goal better

  10. I don’t want them to go down. Love a derby day and it’s great for the city having 2 premier league teams.

Still can’t decide if I think Dyche is a great or shit manager, what he achieved with Burnley was really phenomenal and keeping Everton up last season was solid, but his boomer comments about analytics and data just cement him as an absolute dinosaur and he’s so tactically inflexible. Would find it fascinating if someone gave him a job with a big team just to see what he could achieve with a budget and some really good players.

  12. I don’t even live in England and just imagine how funny it would be for the blues who live near Anfield, when they see Liverpool fans marching towards UCL music and their fans have to be excited to play Championship lol
