It’ll get to the end of the season and if they are 10 points clear they’ll be deducted 9 points

A complete nothing article. All of those could happen but there’s no evidence, so far, that they will.

That is certainly one of the titles of all time.

What title are they taking off Everton?
CoolSatisfaction7970 on
A £100000 fine and a slap on the wrists that will be the high of it for City.

Really shows how thirsty people are when it comes to City, that such nothingburger articles are being posted. Good grief

It’s going to be the only thing that doesn’t matter to City. A fine.
It’s the old ‘poor people ask how long they’ll be charged for a crime, the rich ask how much’.

There’s no way the Prem strips them of titles because they would effectively be admitting they were hugely incompetent and their competition was corrupt for years. They won’t do that to themselves.

Not a city fan or prem team fan but whole thing stinks when u look at Chelsea man utd outspending man City by lots .
But alot of prem n sky deals stink like little clubs only on TV 10 times(fair enough) n big clubs on 28 times , that’s 18 million extra every season over 10 years we were in the prem that’s 180 million we lost out on because sky says so . Fair enough put big teams on 28 times but money should b split evenly .
Like spending money we r in the championship n have the 5th or 6th richest owners in the country but can’t spend anything

Will be a fine and transfer ban. That’s it

Arsenal Fan Starmer should simply nationalise Man City, and liquidate them for a laugh.

If they get charged it will be a fine.

Transfer ban and a paltry fine incoming.

As funny as it would be I wouldn’t want to see them relegated, it would suck for the teams in the lower leagues and turn it into a circus for a year and they’ll bounce right back and within a year it’ll be like nothing ever happened, I think simply deducting 30 points every season over the next 3 to 5 seasons would be enough.

10 point deduction for Everton is the logical outcome
LoganAlien on
Relegation would be too much I feel, but a 10-20 point deduction seems like it would not be overly harsh, given what Forest and Everton went through

We ALL know damn well, NONE of that will happen.
They will face a fine at max.

Considering there are only about 14 Charges for PSR breaches and rest are about non cooperation idt they’ll be relegated
swed2019 on
There needs to be a massive fine as well. In 2008 before the cheating started, they were worth much less, but by 2023 they were the 2nd most valuable club in Europe. If they get stripped of historical titles, they should also be stripped of historical points and the associated prize money they obtained through cheating. If they get relegated, they’ll just win the Championship easily and get back to the top of the PL in one year. They should be banned for multiple years and fined about half the club’s value.

You know it’s only going to be a fine and maybe a transfer ban
