Started off shaky but has grown into the game. One of the only bright sparks in a pretty lackluster Salzburg side today. It looks like the system Pep is playing is structured around Bajetic who sits in front of the two CBs and controls the tempo ala Busquets.

So I watched the first half because I’m sick and he was so so shaky. Gave the ball away loads trying to turn. Looked lethargic.
I’m very glad he’s not been put in the spotlight here or Barca, so he still has time to develop in peace.

Pass completion stats itself doesn’t tell the whole picture.
The player can record a 100% pass rate by passing to a player 5mm next to them or back to the keeper back and forth. So its not an exactly useful metrix by itself to judge a player’s influence on the game

Would rate his game about a 6.5 out of 10. Won his duels and was reliable in possession outwith one or two turnovers. He started out as the lone DM but I felt like his positioning was too deep at times, but looked much better higher up during the latter stage of the game

The lad needs minutes, win lose or draw, it’s experience that will help him develop. Whether he is good enough for us is a different matter. Fingers crossed he makes a big impact and can come back and be a player for us.
