Sorry only link I could find was in Spanish, and I couldn’t find the transfer flair equivalent of “Probably bollocks”

  2. fuck him but it would be really good for the squad if we get him in jan especially when the schedule gets more and more tight

Gravenberch, Mac Allister, and Zubimendi to play in the double pivot sounds incredible, I’m not gonna lie.

  4. I thought he was enjoying the paella from mommy so much. He now actually wants to leave home? Gtfoh

  5. He has now seen how godly Grav has become and wants to learn this power.

I would like to string him along, make him promises that we’ll go back for him and then just as things look to be done drop him like a hot potato.

Kinda want to say fuck off, he has his chance but if this is true, then we should bring him in, so he can learn off Grav.

  7. With Gravys stellar start to the season I’d be much more interested in us upgrading at CF or LB. Obviously we need depth and competition in the 6 but I’m not convinced we have a starting striker of PL winning quality in this system atm. I like jota as someone to come on but he isn’t perfectly gelling in this system yet

  8. He seems like a guy who can’t make up his mind. Even if we get him in January, I could easily see in February him regretting the move and wish he stayed with Sociedad.

  9. La Real is kind of stuck there and this season they’ve lost Merino and Le Normand off the top of my head.

They’ve convinced him to stay but couldn’t strengthen the squad and look a bit in the dumps now; their signings haven’t really worked out.

If there’s any truth to this, I think we should move on. He made us wait for more than a week, and now that Sociedad has had a terrible start to the season, he regrets it? There are other players besides Zubimendi.

Given I’m not 7 years old I’d still happily have him.

I doubt Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards hold strange grudges like most of you

  12. sociedad linger just above la zona de descenso a month into the season and suddenly that undying club loyalty is looking a bit peaky

  13. Not against revisiting the transfer. He was clearly coerced by the people around him to stay, so there’s nothing to be salty about.

He’d make for an excellent addition to the squad.

Also, Andy Carroll aside, our winter transfers have always fared well for us.

  14. It’s very clear why he’s spent so many years at his home club. Sure he is super talented, but they are definitely nothing more than a mid team… If he’s had no ambition all these years and is so scared to leave there for winning serious trophies, is this really the kind of player we want?

Got tired of watching the mountains real fast. But then again this could just be click bait shite

  16. Fuck him and leave him where he is. He had the chance and made us look like dickheads and we have a player in his position who is thriving in it off the basis of these first few games. You’ve made your bed Martin, time to lie in it

  18. Walks into the team still so I’d be delighted. Holding petty grudges is silly because I’d hope Trent would do the same thing (the not leaving part, not the changing his mind later part).

I can’t be arsed with Zubimendi saga again due to all the bed wetters calling them ‘La Real’.

  20. 😂😂😂 because 1 win in 6 games and 16th place ? What happened to his love for the mountains and his club?

Would still take him though, played rotation is necessary 👀

  21. This is most likely bollocks because looking at their team he probably made the decision for his boyhood club as they are down in dumps right now.He probably wanted to help them not get relegated this season as they lost a lot of players.I doubt we will go for him next summer as we will also have our targets who will be way younger than him and can be better than him in future.

  22. Don’t want him.

Not because he isn’t a good player, but because of the principle.

You said no, we moved on, Grav is killing it.

Turns out the mountains of San Sebastián aren’t quite worth trips to the San Siro in the CL, playing in the best league in the world and more money. Who knew.

There’s your bed, go and lie in it.
