I really think a harsh sentence here is the only way to restore a bit of credibility to the game. I honestly think forced sales of clubs that breach financial rules to this level is the only truly appropriate response. City have built a global brand whilst cheating that will stick around long after any punishment.

Expelled from all competitions and stripped-off of all the titles they won during the period of the breaches, this would be the fair punishment if found guilty. But we all remember how Italian football got destroyed after heavily punishing Juventus in 2006, severely punishing City could litteraly destroy English football., so my guess is points deduction at max.
