Team news: Ange confirmed that he expects Wilson Odobert to be out for a fair period of time as he sustained a hamstring injury. Yves Bissouma has trained with the team today while Timo Werner has also recovered well. The duo could both be available for selection for the game with the Bees.

  1. On Richarlison:

    > An update was also provided on Richarlison. The forward featured in our first two outings of the season but has since been unavailable through injury. The Brazilian is still yet to train with the team and so Ange does not expect him to feature for us for the next period.

    > Speaking to the national media, Ange said, “(In terms of) Wilson, it doesn’t look good. We’re still waiting for it to settle down to get all the information but he’ll definitely be out for the next period. It’s his hamstring.

    > “Bissouma trained today so he should be available for tomorrow. Timo was ok. He recovered ok.”

  2. Christ that line about Richy… really feels like the end for him at Spurs tbh, has Sessegnon vibes about it

For clarity even though it’s not in this update, I saw he was quoted saying about Richy “you’re better off not asking me about him until I give an update. He’s a long way off and not with the first team”

  3. I thought Werner would be out for a bit so that Moore gets a chance but now we know he won’t, it’s Werner of the bench …. sad

  4. Odobert sound a bit like what happened to VDV last season? hopefully he back for the 2nd half of Europa league group fixtures.

I am shit scared for the Brentford game.

If anyone saw how they played against city then you should be just as scared as I am.

We seem to have the ball as much as city do but just be a lot worse at it and we don’t have a fuckin robot up top.

Brentford hitting us on the counter is going to be terrifying

At this point.. Richy is cutting close to the biggest flop that is Tanguy. (Purely on money and output wise)The vibe is immaculate tho.

Hope he can turn it around

Why do we have so many hamstring injuries? Do we need a different approach to training? This happened to an NFL team a few years ago, too. They switched up their approach to strength/conditioning training.

  8. Richy’s perpetual injury is fucking frustrating, he’s probably devastated as well. No ETA, no concrete assessment for months, almost a year I feel like

At least sharing his ETA bluntly might be more helpful for all the parties involved, except the team we play right against of course. This can’t go on and on
