I think this formation would eliminate most if not all the problems we have right now
* Fullbacks would give us the width
* We’d have more control in midfield
* Bowen beside Fullkrug is just good business
* Kudus in the middle to drive
* Alvarez to sit between the CB allowing us to essential defend with a 5-3

I can’t recall the last time we won the midfield. Perhaps it’s a personnel thing

It’s interesting, I think it could work. I wonder if Paqueta, Kudus and Bowen all playing centrally might get in each others way a bit, though?

Quite like it. I think we’d get the best out of Füllkrug in that sort of set-up. Maybe Soler instead of Rodriguez would be even better.

I’m actually happy with our current formation and how we have started, the reason unfortunately is soucek while we are struggling to win the midfield as he just doesn’t want the ball and can’t pass.
We do now have some options and I actually look forward to watching the games at the moment. Optimism will fade and die soon I’m sure.
