I think the change of full backs was definitely needed! And of course happy to see the best front 3 playing and Willockinho❤️

  2. No Tonali but happy that Willock starts. Good to see Trippier starting, love bit of competitions for the LB, RB positions

    The back 4 I wanted.

    Isak makes it.

Willock back to provide drive up the pitch so it’s not just on Joelinton.

Barnes on the LW to score again.

    3-1 win incoming.

  4. Feels like Eddie still doesn’t know his best team.

If I see longstaff come on before Tonali today I think I might have a stroke.

  5. We definitely missed that Big Joe Little Joe connection last season so while I’m gutted Tonali isn’t starting I’m happy with the team

Shows we actually have some depth too!

  6. Just a reminder that Howe personally pushed for Tonali for over 6 months and spoke about how he fell in love with the way Tonali played football. So any of you conspiracy weirdos trying to spin this as “Howe doesn’t want him” are full of shit as usual.

I’d have personally started Tonali, I really wanted to see him start but there’s clearly a reason for going with Willock.

  7. I despise the way they post the lineups. I know we can figure out the formation but my brain goes haywire for a second when I try to sort it all out.

  8. Thought Joelinton and Longstaff were poor against Wolves and Tonali played well when he came on so I’m surprised Tonali isn’t starting.
Mind you I know fuck all.

I know Tonali not starting will be a perfectly reasonable decision and theres a plan in place for his reintroduction but I just want to see him start ffs

  10. Any chance this isn’t the 433 we assume? Willock outside of joelinton where they both looked great in days past.

Barnes on right, gordon playing a 10 role?
    Bruno and Joe holding?

Isak has looked isolated this season. Maybe eddie thinks he needs some help?

Just thinking out loud. It’s at least an in game option?

  11. Pretty happy with this, close to our strongest line up available. Tonali, Tino and Hall all competing for starts but Willock, Trippier and Burn fair choices.

Not much depth in attacking reinforcements but that’s a reflection of the squad.

  12. Sky Bet paying 4.5 for Newcastle to score 3 or more goals. Seems really generous given this lineup. I rarely bet these days but am
    having a punt today.

  13. BIG up top.

    Willock in the line up.

    Trippier to start.

Not what I would do but definitely a strong line up and I hope we smash them.
