Vinicius Man of the Match. People see the goals and assists, but people don’t appreciate that his most important contribution is in destabilizing the opposition defence. There are games where he doesn’t register a GA and still exert that influence.

I think the only significant chance Mbappe failed to take advantage of was the long pass late in the game. Took too long to decide whether he wanted to find a pass to a teammate or go solo and had the ball intercepted
For his 2 “big chances” at the start of the game, I think the goalkeeper had great positioning to prevent Mbappe was scoring. I credit Mbappe for at least having the pace to receive those passes and shoot.
Great playmaking by Mbappe, this game though.
