Son being unselfish on and off the pitch is the most Sonny thing. And I love it he plays a great ball but Sonny sometimes give us those 20 yard screamers …. I miss them cutting in and just curling it top corner

I wish he wasn’t so selfless but I still think it was the right call to pass to Johnson
After nearly ten years I finally understand that Son is exactly as selfish as the manager wants him to be. There have also been times in his career (under Conte and Mourihno ) where it seemed like he was always looking for the shot and not teeing up Kane when he was in a better position. I think it’s purely down to instructions.
Madders’ football IQ is insane. He needs to be more ruthless in front of goal. Too composed sometimes lol
Looking back at that replay, Johnson had a pretty open goal if he just fires to the left of the keeper. No need to cross it.
