[Rac1] The first scans indicate that Ter Stegen could have a rupture of the patellar tendon in his right knee. He could be out of action for 8 months if the ultrasound confirms it.

  1. In the English commentary beginning of the 2nd half an update was given about MATS injury by a female commentator, have someone heard it? I didn’t pay attention.

  2. To those that wanted him gone. Hope you’re happy. Yea he made a mistake but he was still crucial for us. Absolutely horrible news

  3. Welp, people who were crucifying MATS for a mistake with a player he doesn’t have much play time with got what they wanted. MATS I hope gets well soon and I hope Pena looks more comfortable this season.

  4. Welp, I am not trusting Peña for a full season. We are fucked if we don’t find another keeper

  5. OriginalUsername30 on

Álvaro Valles is not playing with Las Palmas. He’d be a great replacement. Got the foot work and was one of the best goalies last season.

  6. I know Ter Stegen has had his ups and downs but this really hurts, man. I respect this guy so much, has had so many vital saves and performances, and has been an exemplary professional. Maybe he’s not been at his best but recent form should never make you forget about what has been. I hope he recovers and can still offer us something, but in a way it feels like this might be the beginning of the end for him here…

Inaki is not good enough tbh. We need to make a goalkeeper a priority, asap.
