Statements
Vincent Kompany:
"I'm very happy. It was important to prepare well for this tricky game. The boys did really well. For us the pressure is always there to win and play well. When it works out like today, it's good for us. The atmosphere was great. It was simply a good game for us"
on Michael Olise: "He's a special talent. It's a luxury at Bayern to have so many good players. Michael did very well. His start at FC Bayern couldn't be much better. He has to keep going this way. I haven't got the feeling that he's a player who feels much pressure. He just enjoys football"
on Bremen having 0.00 xG today: "I'm humble enough as a coach to give credit to the players. I was in a position last season [at Burnley] where we played against teams with much better players, clubs much wealthier. If top players run and fight for each other then that's a big part of the job. There's of course an idea behind everything we do. But this [0.00 xG] was possible because the guy who scored two goals [Olise] was running for his teammates. It was because the guy who scored 11 or 12 goals this season [Kane] was running for the team. Coman, Gnabry, Sané, everyone was running for the team. We do it together. I'm realistic enough to give the credit to the players and they deserve it today"
Same style against Leverkusen or will you have to adapt?
Kompany: "I don't know. I first have to do the analysis of the opponent. My full focus was on today. From tomorrow, the focus will only be on Leverkusen. When I played against the top Bayern teams in the past, I didn't have the impression that they were pressured by the opponent. They were always the ones to put the pressure and were good on the ball. We'll see whether we'll manage to do that"
on the Oktoberfest visit tomorrow: "First of all it was important that we won today. The boys can be happy. Tomorrow is tradition. We have to respect tradition. We're all going there. We have to have fun and then from Monday it will only be about Leverkusen and the preparation for the game"
Jamal Musiala:
"Our attack is currently very good. Our pressing, everything off the ball we're doing well. It was important to keep a clean sheet, which we haven't always done recently. We have a lot of quality upfront, stability in midfield, we're enjoying our football at the moment. We'll have tough games coming up. Same plan against Leverkusen? I don't know what the coach is planning. But I don't expect much to change"
on Olise: "He's a great player. We understand each other very well, we talk a lot. The more games we play together, the more chemistry we'll have. He's got a lot of quality"
on Didi Hamann's criticism: "I'm always open to criticism. I hear what others say, but for me the most important thing is what the coach wants and what my teammates say. I'm focused on myself and trying to get better with every game. I'm very self critical. I try to enjoy my football and don't pay much attention to what's being said in the media"
Michael Olise doesn't want to give an interview. But Jamal Musiala encourages him, stands in front of the camera with him and in the end gives the answers for Olise. The Frenchman doesn't say a word. Then Musiala jokes: "That's the start, Michael.
Harry Kane:
"It's been a great week. Credit to the boys for the attitude and mentality. This is a tough place, Bremen have been unbeaten for a while. The way we play on and off the ball has been great. The squad is being used well, the players are getting fitter, we were still pushing after 3, 4, 5 goals and wanted to score another."
Same style against Leverkusen?
Kane: "We're Bayern and we don't change our game for the opponent. Of course it's a difficult test, Leverkusen have been doing really well but we'll go with the same mentality and attitude. Home game during Oktoberfest, it should be a great game"
Alphonso Davies:
"We're happy with the win, but we know that the next big task is ahead. We are looking forward to the game against Leverkusen. We are confident. They deserved to be champions last year, but it was not nice to watch them get the trophy. It will definitely be a great game."
Max Eberl:
"We're supporting each other. Everyone plays a part in defence, we put the passer under pressure. That makes it easier for the defender and the strikers when they win the ball high up. Minjae Kim and Dayot Upamecano played outstandingly today. Bremen didn't have a shot on goal. There was only one situation in the 55th minute when Michael Olise cleared the ball in the penalty box. That's Bayern Munich. After a game like that, I'd be even happier putting on my Lederhosen tomorrow. We have boys who are eager to play and take risks. If you're constantly chasing them, you'll eventually lose interest. We're currently winning the ball very, very high up, so the boys have space and can show off their quality. At the moment, it's just fun"
on Manuel Neuer: "It's nothing serious. He felt something minimal today. We didn't want to take any risks because if he tears something and is out for eight or nine weeks, then we're out of luck."
Will he be available against Leverkusen? Eberl: "I'm not a doctor, but everyone tells me that"
