  1. Probably the best and fairest solution considering the circumstances. Happy it was resolved so quickly.

Sort of expected. Though I do question those on the cup schemes are getting their payments automatically taken tomorrow for the tickets. Given it’s a very last minute and unexpected cup tie there could have been a small window to opt out of that for more tickets to go on sale for members rather than taking ticket sales automatically for a rescheduled away game.

Since its at 10am tomorrow, same time the general sale for Brighton whats the craic there? Still be able to try for both?

  4. Good decision, hopefully plenty Wimbledon fans can make it up here at fairly short notice as well. Looking forward to it!

[Ticket on-sale details](https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/carabao-cup-tie-switched-to-new-date-at-st-james-park), for those interested:

Season ticket holders who have opted into the Carabao Cup Scheme will be emailed tomorrow and payment will be taken before the weekend.

Members and season ticket holders that are not enrolled in the Carabao Cup Scheme are eligible to enter the ticket ballot, which will open at 10am on Tuesday 24th September and close at 10am on Wednesday 25th September.

General sale for members and season ticket holders not enrolled in the Carabao Cup Scheme, and who do not already have a ticket, opens on Thursday 26th September at 10am.

  6. How much are the tickets? I’m in the scheme but will have to move some money around, as I didn’t expect any more payments from that account.

  7. Well, getting a wimbledon membership to go to this game was money well spent. At least it’ll help fund them relaying their pitch!
