  1. I don’t see it happening. No matter how much they modify the formula and structure, you only make one 1st impression and that was catastrophic, so most people opinions are set in stone and will not accept it.

Add to it the new UCL format and it’s even tougher for it to happen. Also governments have already intervened, they’ll make the same threats to stop it, the media will repeat the same campaigns, no amount of PR is going to fix the damage that’s been done.

The only possibility of it actually happening is if those 100 clubs actually signed on the same piece of paper to launch the competition which then renders any attempts to intimidate and scare them off useless.

  2. So, only hypothetical: if said 100 clubs decide to start the Super League, what will happen to the CL? I cannot envision a future where Real will play La Liga, CL and SL at the same time, on one hand UEFA will probably oppose it, on the other hand that would mean even more games for the players, it’s just not sustainable. So, in this scenario, if the SL is a go, then this would mean the end of the CL (or at least a CL without Spanish, English and Italian clubs). If anything, I would really like to see Perez trying to explain the future of our club and the SL in relation to UEFA, what’s going to happen if this project goes live

  3. The players already complaining about the current number of games and Perez wants them to play yet another league?! I’m not sure how would that work boss
