It’s very obvious that Ange believes the system is going to do the heavy lifting when it’s fully working. To think he will just stop there, and refuse to go the extra mile when it really counts (getting over the line to ultimate goals) seems silly to me.
Personally, I think Ange thinks the time for pragmatism is when it makes the difference in the title. Not 5th to 4th, but 2nd to 1st. Not round 3 of the FA cup, but the final.
You can disagree, but to think the guy is going to shoot him self in the foot instead of winning the PL if given the opportunity just doesn’t make sense.
He just doesn’t think there’s a benefit to compromising for smaller victories that won’t matter in the long run.

It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. At Spurs we set our sights very high, so that even failure will have in it an echo of glory.

I think we can all agree that we have needed severe change after the last few seasons. I think we can also agree that change takes time. It’s not as easy as flipping a switch.
Ange is leading us through a huge change, at a core, DNA level. If you can’t hear it in the conviction of his voice, he is daring to do things his way, which, if I’m not mistaken, is exactly our motto.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I am fully on board with this man’s mission, and I hope a few more of you will get on board for the ride too and stop naysaying every little detail of this project.
Look at the bigger picture and plan how you’re going to celebrate when we ride into that Lilywhite promised land!

My gaffer!! Exactly who I want at the club and I feel so lucky Spurs have him. He is doing right by the club on every level as far as I can see and I plan to return the favor with full support. COYS

I still have faith. Big Ange can be frustrating and I’ve doubted him in the heat of the moment, but the club has to give a manager an honest shot at some point.
He’s not hopelessly out of his depth like Nuno, and he isn’t putting the blame on everyone but himself like Jose or Conte. Let the man keep cooking
