Well no shite sherlock is probably what you're saying through the screen, apart from the meme which basically showcased how most us felt when saw that news (Hope Rodri recovers from this in a personal matter). As we all know Newcastle had been in a bad run although nowhere near as bad as Everton and Wolves with the only difference being we had Leverkusen/real madrid luck on our side which ended with Fulham and although I didn't manage to watch the game, I could tell it was an awful game all round. From what I could Isak, Bruno, Joelinton and Gordon were more useful than a vendor selling meat in a vegetarian convention.

Hence with this in mind, I'd say Howe should employ an unorthodox play style/starting XI. I'll leave all the ideas to you lot since I'm not very good at these sort of things but I'd like to suggest Howe should bring some academy players such as Sanusi and Parkinson to bring something new to the table since Isak and Gordon as such just aren't cutting it atm so they should be benched so our bench is strengthened with Tonali starting of course and I shouldn't see Longstaff anywhere near that starting XI.

  1. We historically bounce back from poor performances quite well – especially going into a home match. I think City will have to work pretty hard to get their point(s) and the negaivity in the air will clear a bit.

  2. He needs another player next to Bruno playing to redistribute the ball. I think Tonali or Longstaff need to come in at the expense of Joelinton or Willock.
