Have to say I was wrong about Havertz, at Chelsea I thought he played like a coward at times, shirked challenges and ran away from the ball. He’s put in some unbelievable shifts here, he’s got the engine to go full pelt for 90 minutes but also puts himself about, goes into challenges with aggression. I think we managed to light the fire in him after a tricky period, credit to all involved, just want him to protect the ball a bit more intelligently when he’s under pressure as he still surrends it weakly from time to time
It’s a great time to be a gunner! Fuck everyone else with their bias’!
Starting lineup vs Bolton? I’m not sure if Raya is the one who is injured
which channel is showing the game in germany? DZAN had no efl cup games yesterday

You literally cannot touch City players. I’ve watched this three times trying to figure out where the foul is. Disgusting disgusting refereeing. Shit like this NEVER goes against them either.
I’m excited to see Nwaneri get a start today. Next 3 PL games are Leicester and Southampton home and Bournemouth away. He should definitely start in all of them.
Not sure who the GK will be. Raya injured/rested, Neto cup tied and Setford injured. Just hope that 16 yr old kid is up for it (couldn’t remember his name).
Would be hilarious if we go near full strength, score 2-3 early goals, sub the first teamers and just sit back and doing the dark arts. Rival fans would go nuts and I’m here for it.
5 games in and it already feels like a an eternity with all the drama. At this pace, we’ll end up the season unbeaten, with most red cards and half of the goals from set pieces. Would be really enjoyable to see the meltdown that follows
What’s this narrative I’ve woken up to about how we went into the city game with intent to injure city players? Absolutely bananas. Rodri went down by himself. Haaland absolutely flattened partey for no reason other than him being an ugly git and yet this is the narrative being discussed on sky sports etc. City is so clearly the media’s and PGMOL’s darling it’s sick.
No mainstream media is covering bolton’s pre game press conference ?

Varane has announced his retirement. Sad but his body has just completely given up. A reminder that some in here actually wanted us to sign him in the summer.
Hopefully we rest Gabriel and Saliba today, want to see Sterling and Jesus start.
Pep probably told off Haaland for hitting Mikel. Homies over hoes. Do the homie.
I don’t care if I get called a conspiracy theorist, I 100% believe that Michael Oliver’s a bent referee. Him refereeing in the UAE for 20,000 bucks, is no different to politicians getting paid to do speeches at a conference by an oil company. It’s technically not a bribe because they’re being paid for a service, but we all know it really is a bribe.
At the very best it’s a conflict of interest and he shouldn’t be allowed to referee in the prem.

Found this lol
Somehow I feel like Calafiori has a very “He is Him” vibe about him. A real protagonist. This is probably just waffle, but that’s what I feel when I see him play.

V Sport 3 (Norway) & SuperSport Action are broadcasting our game live tonight. Main coverage seems to be on for the Liverpool vs West Ham tie + Europa league games.
Endrick getting away with fully kicking someone in the balls. We say the refs are bias here, in Spain it’s a different level.
Excited for a stress free game tonight seeing some of the younger guys like Ethan and MLS. These last few games have been hella strressful
Apart from liverpool, feel like everyother team is just going to roll over at the etihad
I’d go with Nichols, Heaven, Kiwior and one of Saliba or Gabriel. If both are knackered fuck it and put Maldini in.
Start any of Okonkwo, Porter or Rojas in goal.
Midfield of MLS, Salah and Jorginho with Sterling, Jesus and Nwaneri as the front 3. I prefer Ethan play the 10, but better to rest Saka and Martinelli so he’s the next best option out wide.
Anybody else get the feeling a new first choice defence was christened on sunday with Timber–Saliba–Gabriel–Calafiori?
