      I mean, I wouldn’t mind him as part of the squad. De Ligt and Licha for progression, De Ligt and Branthwaite for height and physical presence, Yoro and Branthwaite for high line speed. Would make for a very useful set of skills in the centre backs to use depending on the game plan and opposition.

      Branthwaite or Lukeba for that other left footed CB role. Gives competition to Martinez with a natural left footed CB and helps manage his minutes also. Love Maguire but it’s an easy move to make with his contract expiring, his age, and his wages. Lindelof can leave in January itself

      Would for sure be a solid addition, I’m more interested in CM, Wingers that can score and a long term replacement for Bruno – really curious who our targets are there for Jan / next summer

      Licha, De Ligt, Yoro and Branthwaite + a Lindelöf/Evans replacement is title winning cb depth and you can’t tell me otherwise

      Licha, De Ligt, Yoro, Braithwaite and potential youngster would be an unreal cb options. I think we will focus on LB and CM this summer. Malacia is a big question mark, Shaw isn’t a football player anymore, Eriksen will go, Casemiro probably too. It leaves us with Mainoo, Collyer and Mount for nr 8 (where Mount is close to Shaw in terms of availibility), which is absolutely not enough.

      Everton are 19th after 4 games against, Villa aside, relatively weak opposition. No chance Branthwaite signs any sort of extension.

      Lets hope they get relegated so it forces their hand and we get in a better bargaining position.

      I know he’s not reliable but we will need a Martinez back up at some point. Have to sell Lindelof atp but I doubt we’ll get much for him, not that good. Maguire has redeemed himself but he’s “old” and expensive wages, won’t get too much for him either.

      Still a good move though, lcb and Bruno depth are needed in the summer. Maybe an Eriksen replacement too but he’s been promising so far.

      So who would be our targets next summer? I’m thinking a RW as competition for mainly Amad but also Garnacho and Rashford, a Bruno backup/potential successor (as much as I love Mount he needs to prove he can stay fit), rotation option for Kobbie, rotation option for Ugarte (assuming Case leaves) and a LB? Sounds about right, then maybe we can look at Branthwaite.

      Sure T4 and all but wouldn’t surprise me if this is true. Valuation should be closer to ours next summer likely and we need a left footer to rotate with Martinez.
