  1. Whats everyone’s opinion, especially with the arguments about CL prices and lack of protest after a very large fan base being outspoken against protesting.

Seems a lot of fans are having to choose which games they attend. I also believe villa priced this game completely wrong expecting because its wolves it would draw more of a premium. Guess that didnt happen.

  2. A lot of the unsold tickets were for hospitality like terrace view at 120+ any 55-75 quid tickets I could see were single seats that, for me, makes going less desirable

(I know some hospitality tickets might have been 200+ too and this seems the same for man u next Sunday)

  3. Think a lot of fans will be picking and choosing league games now if they are looking to go to a couple of champs league games.

City at home just before Christmas will be a big one I’m sure with people broken up for the holidays and hope of a repeat of last December 👀 UTV

Heck doesn’t understand the English game. You can’t come over to Brum and expect fans to pay the same prices Americans pay to watch their sport.

Good, hit them where it hurts. Yes, it’s a business and we’re Champions League but they’re so out of touch. The average fan doesn’t have this sort of money.

  6. If its hospitality sections that aren’t selling out by a couple of days before a game then they should offer the seats that would be occupied by those customers as normal seats at normal prices and at least get arses on them for match days.

My issue with GA+ is the sections you’re sat in. Paying nearly £200 to be up in the gods of Trinity or Doug Ellis with zero atmosphere isn’t something I’m keen to do again tbh. It’s a shame because the pre and post game bit is really good – it’s just the seating sections that are naff.

  7. I would just like to be able to afford to go to Villa with my old man. Tickets are basically 140quid then there’s the trains there and if you stop for a few pints before hand it becomes even more expensive.

You could say just go to the game but if I’m spending 140 quid on a day out I want it to be a proper day out.

140quid is still a lot of money for a game especially after having a hull city season ticket last year (went uni there). And it was only 8.50 a month. Is it comparable, not at all but the different sentiments of making tickets affordable and out pricing hard working people are there.

I know villa has a partially affluent following and if they can afford to go fair enough but people simply getting annoyed at folk wanting to go to the games lack empathy. Success has a cost but this isn’t it.
