Andy Carroll on his €3.5k per month salary at Bordeaux in the 4th division 🗣️ “To be honest, it actually costs me money to play for Bordeaux but it’s never been about money in my career. I’m just happy to play football, I want to be part of the history of this club.”

I like how he’s slowly turning into Lemmy
Wonder what percentage of earners he’d still be in for the UK salary.
Also liked him
I thought this club was done for after FSG chose not to buy them?
IL always respect players that choose the love of football over a cash grab. He’s 35 and recognized internationally, he could be earning more than this in Saudi easy.
Is it me or is that still a pretty decent salary to play footy though? Surprised French 4th division pays that much
Kind of irrelevant on this sub, no?

He rented my friends house when he was at Liverpool and absolutely trashed the place
