We definitely controlled the game. Leverkusen legit bodied our players so many times. I felt like we were a little slow though are counter attacks could have been slightly faster.
I haven’t seen much of Palphina but I felt like he could have made a difference.

IMO I think that Kompany did good, we controlled the game and didn’t let Leverkussen pull their 90’+X’ bullshit. Lucky goals from both sides but a draw is better than a loss. We had some issues with scoring but I say we take our W’s and L’s and make sure we can perform against Villa in the UCL.

It sucks that we didn’t win due to all the time wasting and bad luck, but it’s clear that the players have more confidence and play with a better mentality under Kompany. The future looks promising.
