Gavi *no longer* has discomfort (tho no risks will be taken). In fact, in sessions, he has to be stopped. If it was up to him, he would already be competing. The club says he’s “doing very good” — he can be available for Sevilla/Bayern/Madrid. @alexpintanel

  1. ❗️ Gavi has been pushing himself harder recently in training sessions as he senses his return coming closer. He feels prepared to compete again, but the club and Hansi Flick don’t want to take any risks and rush him back onto the field. Gavi no longer feels pain or discomfort.

Despite Gavi’s desire to return this week, some members of the coaching staff are more cautious. They want him to build up more training time, especially since there will be a break for international matches after the games against Young Boys and Alavés.

It is still unclear exactly when Gavi will return, it’s very unlikely he’ll play before the international break. Though if it were up to him, he’d already be included in the squad list.

Iván de la Peña, Gavi’s agent, has been a crucial figure in his recovery, offering trusted advice throughout the process. Having retired early due to injuries, De la Peña has overseen Gavi’s rehabilitation from the start.

We will have both Gavi and Fdj after the break. Need 2 wins now to end this part of the season in a good way.

  3. So glad to finally have professional experts of their field in the staff instead of unqualified brothers, in-laws, friends and cousins.
