  1. The VAR this season are focusing on getting the game going again as quickly as they can, doesn't matter if the decisions are right or wrong.
I think they should focus on getting the results right first, no matter how much time it takes. And after a few months it will also automatically reduce the time taken to make these decisions.
The priority should always be for making the RIGHT decision.

  2. Next time this happens the player should just sit on the pitch and refuse to leave until a check is done. They would crumble, mark my words

  3. Tell me again. WHY TF all casual fans see this episode and clearly see no red card (90% of casual viewers would say NO RED), because Bruno leg slipt and he lost balance?… I mean those corrupted or incompetent Refs and VArs are PAID TO MAKE SIMPLE and fair decisions…. Now you sent Bruno off and it caused easy win for Spurs…. Before that Refs sent off Rice and Trossard for no reason… causing Arsenal loosing 4 points… EPL Refs and VAR are total DISGRACE.

  4. lol the gap in the poll isn’t anything to do with that people thinking it’s high.. it’s just opposite fans and people who don’t like Bruno voting it as a red.. melts. Can’t wait for it to happen to them.

  5. That is a clear red card. Dermot doesn't know what he's talking about and is blind. He gave us the "assistant's angle" which is NOT the assistant's angle. It's the ref's angle. The previous clip before that WAS the assisant's angle. Doesn't matter how many times I see it, it's studs up on his leg. It's a red! Whether he slipped or not is irrelevant. It's dangerous play and could have been a lot worse.

  6. Don't think the "challenge" is a red card tbh.. BUT probably deserves it because of how stupid it was. Why on earth stretch like that to hit Madisson? Not going to bring him down (so shouldn't be a red) but showing complete intent on trying to (so for me, based on no rules whatsoever, should be a red just because it's so stupid!) lol

  7. Yes he slipped but he then deliberately continued to carry through with a really well aimed high foot challenge that could have caused more damage.

  8. VAR would be great if it was actually used properly instead of placing weird rules on ‘when’ and ‘where’ it can be used. I tear my hair out when a decision is made by the ref, we see on VAR that it is wrong, and then i hear gary neville say…. “Oh dear but VAR can’t overturn it for that”…

What?! Why? Why place silly rules that prevent the proper use of the technology.
    Incompetence

  9. And rivals fans and some media will go at Arsenal when refereeing is spoken about but this poor level of refereeing happens to everyone…except City. It needs to be called out, it happens every week
