They can “plan” to do it all they want but unless they get an offer from someone it’s irrelevant and clubs know he isn’t wanted and out of contract soon so will offer peanuts.
Maguire is probably better to keep than Lindelof, but I understood the desire to not lose him on a free & recoup *some* value.
