I saw them commenting on this on a match thread I was reading and they were stunned comparing it to Usain bolt averaging something like 38-39km/h for his quickest 100m but they checked themselves when they realised it was an average and he clocked fastest at 44km/h. Still impressive but not Bolt impressive.Â

Given the number of high profile rule changes Tottenham have been involved in, I’m half expecting the FA to introduce an on-pitch speed limit on account of VdV.

Realising the high line is actually perfect for VDV since it gives him the time and space to chase down the attacker

I couldn’t believe this at first, but that speed is about equal to the fastest speed recorded by an NFL player ([Tyreek Hill](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsQcMgeiMTI)). Insanely fast.
