Comparison between Lille’s passing map VS Real Madrid’s passing map for the entire match

  1. Tchouameni plays too damn close to the defenders. He’s too afraid of losing the ball and not being able to run back.

Mendy has no character whatsoever. No creativity, no guts.

Vini simply don’t play together with Mendy, it’s a sterile duo. It can’t continue this way.

Bellingham shouldn’t be supposed to do what he did last season without Kroos on that area. That’s why he’s not playing well with Mendy-Vini.

So many other things, my gosh.

  2. This is what I and many others refer to when we say this team is a mess that has no idea what to do and the manager has done nothing to address those issues for 2 months now.

Our players have no idea what to do, Ancelotti is not giving them anything to work with, just put 11 names on the starting XI and hope for the best. Also, there is a difference between having a team with fluid players that can switch positions, and players that don’t know when to switch or what tactical idea is being executed that requires switching. It’s all about individuals trying to find an answer on their own without any intervention from our manager.

No matter how good your players are, they are still players, they don’t study tactics, they don’t sit and watch opponents games and analyse them, they don’t come up with ideas and test them in training, that’s a manager’s responsibility and Ancelotti so far hasn’t done anything to indicate that he’s working with the team to get the best out of them. This laziness is going to be very costly if not dealt with urgently.

Edit: I think I wasn’t clear with my last paragraph and misrepresented my thoughts. I didn’t mean that players don’t do anything of that sort but it’s not their responsibility to do all of that on their own. It’s the coaching staff that’s responsible for analysing opponents, sitting with players and showing them what they found out. Of course there are players that independently do that, they study their opponents to learn their habits but that’s on a micro scale not the overall tactical setup of the entire team. What these past two months have shown is that the coaching staff has done nothing of that sort, so our players have nothing to work with. Even if 3 or 4 players study their counterpart, they still need the manager to lay a foundation and connect those ideas into an aligned vision that every player understands and executes during the game.

  3. All we need is a couple more bad games so we can boot the eyebrow merchant and get Zizou back. How you got a top 2 players in every position, the worlds 3 best players and playing like this…

Idk bro these players play with so much freedom that it’s not positive for the team. I get that they don’t want to play with a striker at all, but sometimes shit like this is too much.

  5. How possible is it to play a midfield with Cama/Bellingham/Guler and Valverde behind them? He has great defensive qualities, great passing, super fast for counter attacks, good creativity and tireless box to box when needed. That’ll allow Bellingham/Cama/Guler more freedom, and in this case we’ll only have 2 people competing on the right (Brahim and Rodrygo), and 5 in midfield for 3 positions. We can adjust to have Tchou play when we need to switch to defensive mode.

I understand that Valverde is more than a defensive mid, but he can truly own this position and make it his own. An explosive defensive mid.

Don’t roast me, just a question lol
