According to bild it’s a 3-4week recovery. It’s like every time he starts to peak he gets injured. Maybe his body just can’t sustain his work rate and ambition. I’ve been complaining about how much sahin plays him. Starting for a total of 6 games in one month and not risking an injury when you’ve already suffered 2 big ones is crazy. I want him to be a consistent starter but there should be some sort of rotation to maintain health. Especially playing him for 90mins vs Bochum and expecting him to not get injured 3 days later especially after that wild 1st half. I hope recovers completely and can maintain form, He’s been my favorite player at Dortmund since Reus left.

could be worse considering two weeks of that are international break. still sucks for him though and hope he will have better luck soon

If he’s back within 6 weeks at or near top speed we are fine.

Beier it’s time to fucking step up buddy let’s go!!!

  3. So Unlucky, I hope he continues to do well after the injury and of course good rest and fast recovery.

  4. Sucky, but you’re right OP, he was getting too much playing time (even though he obviously craves it). Can’t play two games every week and not pick up knocks along the way. Thankfully we’ve got depth where he plays, can’t say the same if Schlotti or Can get injured.

So 2-3 games out isn’t the end of the world. But my goodness, he’s been so good feel for him.

  6. I’ll take it and hopefully it’s not one that’s going to take longer than expected like his toe injury when he first arrived. The international break is coming at a good time and I do want to see Malen or especially Beier kick on as well.

Sahin, don’t even think about putting Sabitzer there again
