It’s sad to see some ‘fans’ giving Rasmus Højlund stick for his recent post. It’s quite clear that he was simply expressing his happiness at being back on the scoresheet after dealing with injury. This guy always gives 100% every time he pulls on that red jersey, and that’s something most of us appreciate. Honestly, if every player left as much on the pitch as Højlund does each week, we’d probably be in a much more favorable scenario right now. He’s a young talent who’s only going to get better!

Honestly, some fans have completely lost touch with reality. This is what a player who genuinely cares about the fans looks like. Rasmus posted that to lighten the mood among us, but of course, given how reactionary and toxic some of the United fanbase can be, a few took it the wrong way. People seem to forget that Rasmus is a lifelong United fan too, so he’s well aware of how we’re all feeling about the team’s current performance.
