I absolutely loved his harrying style of play and quick give and gos. As soon as he received the ball he had only one thought- darting forward like a demon. I’d choose a fully fit and available 25 year old Rosicky ahead of Fabregas, Cazorla, Hleb or Odegaard of the same age. It’s not based on any rationality, that’s just how much I adored his scampering runs and quick shooting. This video is actually a good example of exactly what I liked about him so much- the direct run, the explosive shooting.

Papa Wengz said it best – if you love football, you love Rosicky. If he wasn’t made of glass he’d have reached Hazard levels at CAM (which we only ever caught glimpses of)
