this is the best front 3 control wise but also the slowest with no real pressing factor. no Szobo is also a big L for pressing . we will either set deep or try to have possession for the whole game

I realise it’s a purely selfish reaction but genuinely excited for a changed starting XI. We have had managers in the past who never started the same line-up two games in a row, but Arne seemed to be taking it too far the other way with not enough variation.
IMHO Szobo was due a rest and Gakpo coming in for Diaz seems a very positive step. Hope Curtis has a worldy, he is such a likeable lad. Tsimi does have his little wobbles now and again but Robbo looked didn’t look at his best midweek.
