People wonder where Endo fits in this system. Games like these. Came in. Won headers. Won tackles. Blocked passing lanes. Last few minutes in a game where you need to shut the opponent down, Endo is there.

  1. He was great when he came on, added a little bit of calm that we really needed. Appreciated his run to the corner flag and him swatting it with his hand for a throw over a goal kick

  2. He will get plenty of gametime when we get into the crunch season and players are injured/fatigued all over the shop. Solid player even if he’s not in our best 11.

Saw the clip of him bossing Citeh last season and benching KdB’s ass. Forgot how big of a cult hero he was

  4. A destroyer will always have a place in any team, even prime Barca. They might not be starters but you need that player when your team is under constant pressure

He’s very Milner, and that’s a very useful kind of player to have at your disposal

  6. Was it Endo who went in with a hard tackle? I fist pumped in my living room seeing that

  7. Endo has taken over Milner’s role as “The Closer.” He’s brought in to shut things down, clean things up, finish the job, and shut the doors behind him. Great job today

Would have preferred him on a little longer, but o think he has a role to play this year. He’s our only destroyer type player we have and has a tidy pass on him

  9. The recent negativity surrounding Endo just shows how short term the memory of a lot of football fans is.

He was literally one of our best players once establishing himself in the team last season. In his first season. In a new club. In a new country. In his 30s. With everyone initially doubting his signing.

What a player. One of my favs, largely for all of the odds he has to constantly overcome.

I thought he was really good, made good decisions on the ball when we were looking to keep possession, showed a lot of experience and made important tackles.

  11. Think Palace haven’t had a sniff on goal after he came on right? Help us win the ball in midfield and up the pitch with his tackles and relieves the pressure from our backline before the ball gets to them.

Before that Palace are just walking through our midfield with ease, when they were growing into the game in yhe 2nd half.

The highlight is of course, his handball that prevented their goal kick and forces then to take a throw in deep inside their own half instead 😂😂😂

Endo is basically Millie. Every top side needs one. Great player to bring on to help steady the ship and put himself about. My only disappointment is he never got booked!

Still early on but I do think this role of a closer is his way to Slot’s rotations. The gaffer calls him to do the ‘dirty things’ now.

I hope Slot decides to keep Endo at least for this season, it’s the ugly physically demanding games he thrives in. Cant wait to actually see an Endo-Gravy double pivot with Macca at the 10, I feel like that might be our best midfield

  15. he’s that guy and i will be gutted if we sell him tbh. always busts his ass no matter what
