  1. It seems better than it seemed. Granted still awful for him but man I was thinking it was a career ending injury

  2. Ngl as weird as it sounds, glad it’s just that. Heard a lot of career ending injury talk so “good” news.

  3. Wish him a speedy recovery, but unfortunately, not to sound like a pessimist, I think this might be Carvajal’s career done at the very top level. His season is basically over now with him tearing his ACL. He will be 33 years old when he returns, especially post ACL playing in a very physically demanding position. I love him and appreciate him, but I think it’s time we go into the market looking for a replacement for the future, not just a temporary solution.

  4. Season over I believe. He will turn 33 in January and probably be back from injury the start of next season as a back up, hope Perez gives him one last contract renewal he’s been a great icon in this club

It’s time to start looking for a replacement and I have one in mind. Tiago santos from Lille

  5. With all these frequent injuries in the last 2-3 years, could it possibly have to do with Pintus’ training sessions being a little too extreme?

  6. Damn thankfully it’s not a career ending injury, scared the shit out of me when i heard his scream. Speedy recovery to our captain!

  7. I’m not too high on this club, but you have to be a shitty human being to let your hatred for a club go so far to the point that you start spreading negativity surrounding a fucking horrific injury like this one. People on soccercirclejerk are just too far gone

VVD was 29 when he tore and came back as good as ever. Technology and resources today make a big difference. He’ll be fine. Just stay away from Trent please 😅

  9. Fuccck. I was assuming that was it given where he kicked but was hoping otherwise. Terrible news

  10. Sad day for us Madridistas. Wishing Dani full recovery.
And if you are a fan and still distraught by what happened (like we all are) – remember such is an unfortunate fate of all professional players. To play at highest levels often means to push your body to the limits. And when the body in charge of football (FIFA, UEFA) is not there to protect you and refs are letting everyone tackle our players while booking them mercilessly for complaining about these tackles – this is the result.

  11. I sincerely hope Dani Carvajal makes a swift and complete recovery. He is undoubtedly one of the most undervalued right backs in the history of football. While I believe that unlike Courtois, Dani Carvajal’s time as a main player may be coming to an end, he could potentially return mid next season at the age of 33. In my opinion, he could still serve as the second-choice right back, but we would need to acquire a new world-class right back.

  12. Will Madrid finally sign a player during the winter transfer window? I believe the last signing was Reinier (2020) and Brahmin (2019)
