The calendar is not the one forcing the SAME players to play every game. I fear Valverde is next because he gets ZERO rest by Ancelotti.
He got a great bench but he keeps playing the same players until this happens.

Injuries happen, folks.

I see everyone is touchy on this subject… My first idea when reading the title was:
“Sounds like something Trump said”.
No criticism of Ancelotti, just the Donald being constantly in my Reddit feed…

Carlo is stubborn to a fault. And In this case he IS at fault.
Carvajal injury was pure bad luck, but Vini Bellingham etc etc is kind of on the intense match traffic.
Rotation is not giving the “kiddies” and the “leftovers” some time on the field. That’s ludicrous.
Rotation is exactly that, you rest players AND MORE IMPORTANTLY you get other players up to speed.
Think of it like this, instead of an XI and reserves, a modern football club needs to have a 20 people squad that’s pretty much on par. Maybe not on skill but definitely on form.
And that last part is where Carlo stubbornly refuses to give in.
He still wants to play football in the 2000s. Yea I liked that era too but its gone. This is the reality of football now. Its fast, its always mobile and the calendar is filled to the brim.
Playing your favorite XI and being bothered this much by injury is squarely on the coach. He has to find a way, and in this case its very obvious; stop playing your favorites and balance the squad.

Okay I see everyone raging and whatnot but for the couple of minutes that Vini played center when rodrygo entered (rodrygo played left wing), did y’all see the danger we posed? I actually think rodrygo would perform much better on the left and Vini as center. Purely for counter attacks.
As for why we ain’t playing good, there’s no creativity, no good passes and midfield feels like it’s not working together. It’s normal though. New arrivals, new pressure and new season.

Not really an injury you can blame on the schedule

Maybe you should rotate players and make subs before 90+. It is not first time it is happening and you never learn from it.

It happened because of YOU.
