It’s like he sees the channels to go through before they happen. I’ve played Futsal competitively in my younger days (nowhere near professional levels) and it’s like this, when you are in the zone and flowing freely.
He is so aware of his surroundings and creates these situations with his whole gameplay. I’m just glad he is give the freedom to play his game. I rewatched the recent Crystal Palace game and Tsimikas was getting yelled at by Virg the whole first half.. poor guy.

I do think we need to see him against a proper team but he’s been unbelievable so far

I’ve never seen someone with a better first touch, personally. And his ability to find and attack space is already elite.

You know, he’s still not a 6 😂 he’s playing very well there in a deeper midfield role but you can see yourself, he’s far better at the 8/10 role. He’s doing a great job as a 6 right now but I feel like he may be exposed against bigger teams than we’ve faced so far. If he performs like this against City or Arsenal then consider me converted and he’s a 6 in my mind too.

Craziest thing for me is how quickly he’s got the trust of our senior players. Ali, Virgil, Macca etc are all comfortable passing to him even when he’s in a tight space
