  1. Going into an international break unbeaten in all comps and people are using that time to give themselves a panic attack over real madrid being interested in Saliba.

He’s one of the best CBs in the world. Of course they’re interested. They’d be fucking stupid not to be. Get a grip.

  2. Cthulhu_Madness on

Hoping England kills the game early on and both Rice and Saka get some deserved rest.

  3. I’m not sure if it’s a rant but for the longest I’ve always wanted to be a journalist even when everyone told me they wouldn’t earn enough money I didn’t really care. I just wanted to write my opinions and try to change peoples perceptions about different topics.

Most recently I started to lean more in sports journalism because it’s one thing I can talk for hours about but one thing I just noticed is how majority of sports publications have now resorted to rage bait takes to get more clicks. Not only in football but in other sports too. I started following the wnba and the majority of its discourse was heavily misogynistic, racist and homophobic at a point. I noticed that the media were the ones fueling most of these takes and this is similar to the way they targeted arsenal especially after our draw with man city

It’s sad that the these media outlets had to resort to putting certain players, teams down in order to make people talk. Hopefully I want to try and do something and atleast do some change (I think I sound naïve but I really want to try)

  4. Just wanted to say that these last few years have been incredible as a supporter. Competing at the highest levels, amazing goals, bullying the opposition, everyone complaining about us, pure joy.

Having started watching football around the 2002 WC, seeing Invincibles wipe the floor with everyone they come across and then suffering through 20 years of disappointment, heartbreak, bad luck. Still seeing great football, don’t get me wrong, but now I just feel positive anticipation, instead of dread looking at the fixtures and seeing the top clubs, that used to win comfortably against us before.

Enjoy it while it lasts lads. We’ll surely win something and one day Arteta will move on, because he’s a winner and a competitor. But for now, I am happy.
