Ole Gunnar Solskjær has declined the chance to take over the Danish National Team, because he’s “in negotiations with a big club”

Ole + McKenna + Carrick + Ruud dream team. No single main manager, just rotate them evenly like a mattress

  2. I won’t believe it’s us, but I wonder who it could be. ‘Big club’ is a pretty wide definition. But then not many big clubs struggling outside of us.

    Dortmund maybe?

  3. One may argue he’s better than ETH, but that sure as hell does not qualify him to be our manager. No way he is in negotiations with United again.

  4. Whilst I wouldn’t hate good vibes Ole caretaker for a while I do not want to repeat that cycle again. If he has a good/great run everyone will be going crazy for us to keep him. People struggle to be objective because he’s such a legend.

  5. God I hope it isn’t man united. I don’t think people here remember how bad his last few games at us where, and how weak his leadership was among the players.

Caretaker till the end of season, only extend if we win the quadruple, who sais no?

Anyone saying Ole in must have completely lost the plot or has the memory of a goldfish. Christ

  8. Big club can be very subjective. Turkey as an example has some big clubs

I’d hope it’s not us anyway, some struggle to separate the legend of a player to the manager

  9. It will likely be west ham. I have the feeling that the term “big club” is being applied to any team in the top five leagues

  10. People in here asking for him back as if the first go around was anything to write home about

Almost zero chance that it’s United imo. If INEOS are serious about moving forward, bringing back Ole for a short stint is not the move. It’s like going back to the wife you divorced after she cheated on you, it’s just not a good idea and will end poorly.

Please don’t let it be United. Not becoz I don’t want him but I don’t want him to get abuse that he got the first time around

Solskjaer even with his limited experience was the best manager post fergie in terms of playing style, he just got fucked with the ronaldo signing, was surprised he didn’t get another job after he was sacked

  14. I’ve been a United fan for 2 decades soon, and there has been no better time post Fergie than when he was here.

The only time that comes close to Ole is Ibra + Mourinho + Pogback season

  15. LMAO he always says this and then nothing happens. No big clubs are after him. Definitely not us, it’s be a step backwards. Ten hag has done more in 2 yrs than what ole did as a manager

  16. Too much hate in this dumb fanbase, don’t want to go through it with Ole again. He would get Rashy, Hojlund, Amad cooking. Hope it’s a German club. Think he would do really really well there.

  17. Yeah no thanks. First stint didn’t end well. Limited manager, no point going through that again.

Just no. He had his chance. I doubt utd is that stupid to go back, right? But everything is possible with this club.

  19. Not the popular opinion here but just because it was ‘best period post-Fergie’ (no trophies) doesn’t mean it’s the best we can do. It’s not us anyway
