He brings something but also costs alot. It depends what they expect from manssverk id say.
I read that he wants to leave because he isn’t playing and that’s just not true. He’s plays everything when he’s fit and he’s our captain. Only reason I can see him leaving is money.
The rumors are thusfar not very credible.
He plays whenever he can and apparently a lack of playing time was the reason.
Just had a look at the article, and the source they are citing is The Sun, so I wouldn’t be too worried if I were you. It would be a good move at some point for both parties, but for now, he is too important for the squad to let him go.
If the reports are true that he makes around 7 million per year than that’s simply to expensive for Ajax without the Champions League money. Also no garantees that we will play Champions League next season. So I wouldn’t have a problem if he stays but if f he wants to go then that’s also fine. He’s decent but not something that can’t be replaced.
