I like Scott and am glad he’s doing well but let’s stop pretending like he was ever a great player in the PL.. Italy suits him and Napoli is a team where he can play to his strengths. He wasn’t able to do that at United, not with how our team is set up. Also not when managers used him as a DM .

Like I said at the time, I’ve no problem selling Scott if we replace him with someone better.

We didn’t give him away, he was sold. Also in our system he doesn’t fit unfortunately. He isn’t a cdm, not a cam and the central midfield role doesn’t suit him with the playing style.
We also needed funds to get Ugarte since Casemiro looks one legged these days.
