I’m not English so not like my opinion matters but I don’t think England should go for another pragmatic manager unless they want a continuation of that dire Southgate ball. Also TT isn’t exactly known for dressing room harmony.

  2. He loves England, he plays tactics, he’s won the biggest trophies – absolutely worth a shot.

Bonus: he doesn’t go to ManUre

  3. Tuchel builds his teams perfectly for tournaments – and his training regime is a historically short term, prep for the next team type; so he’ll probably be fine with the much shorter time he’ll have with the players

Is everyone forgetting that Tuchel had multiple finals where he played out for a 0-0 draw and lost on penalties?

We’ve literally just criticised Southgate for playing overly defensive football with a team of world class attacking talent and now we’re happy to put the master of 0-0 in charge?

I always think England teams have to like the coach. Venables Robson Southgate. If the coach is a cunt it won’t work.

Probably purposely leaked by Tuchel to force United’s hand. How would a German newspaper know this before the English media?
