IMO better passer than Kroos. Many times Xabi looked to play forward, while Toni’s passes are most of the time to the side (pinpoint though) and more safe. And Xabi played deeper than Toni. Of course I don’t want to dimnish all what Toni achieved and how big legend he is. Still miss him.

Xabi was an absolute masterclass player and is a great coach. Reminds me of another RM midfielder haha

Do you feel like defenders became better over that time? Im sure they learn how to counter and be ready for those long passes and you simple cant send long ball because they are ready for it. On other side we have Barcelona B team scoring goals like no problem while we struggle with best players in the world.
