His family is very religious and his father is a pastor. His personality reminds me of Kaká.

He plays the drums.

When he left Cruzeiro for Palmeiras they put him to play with older kids, because he was smaller than the other boys he was used as a RW, but he still thinks that his natural position is as a 10.

He is working to gain muscle mass and has gained a lot recently, but he is taking it with caution to not lose his mobility.

He chose Chelsea because of London and the project of giving opportunities to young players.

He doesn't like the nickname Messinho, this was created by the media. But Messi is his favorite player and a role model on and off the pitch.

Paez spoke to him about how difficult it was to learn English when they met. He believes that both can play together, but if not possible it will be a healthy rivalry.

His current favorite Chelsea player is Palmer, from the past Hazard and Willian, he believes he has similar technical characteristics to Hazard.

They asked him what he thought of Maresca watching how he performs and if he was happy with the praise he gave him.

He said he was happy and is watching how they perform too (This was unintentionally funny)

The interviewer made a comparison between Chelsea and Palmeiras, saying that Palmeiras is a team full of veterans and has won several trophies recently, asking if this facilitated his introduction to the team, while Chelsea is a team that is still trying to find itself and whether it will be more difficult.

He believes that this will be up to him, that the team is young, will go through difficulties but in the end everything will be fine. He genuinely seems very confident that he will make Chelsea a better team.

He said many other things, but this is the most important, Here is the Link for the interview.

Unless the unforgivable happens and Palmer leaves I’ve got no idea what Maresca is gonna do next season with three left footed no 10s, all of whom have the potential to be the best in the world

  2. I cannot fking wait for next season bro. I’m so excited for estevao. I remember how close we came to getting Neymar so I’m happy we are getting one of the next big things from Brazil that would usually go to Spain

Thanks, OP. Really interesting insight to the lad. Can’t wait to see him and Paez play.

  4. Can’t wait for this boy and kendry to arrive

Gotta think we could have a stacked south American squad soon with Paez, Estevao, Caicedo, Enzo, Santos and Anselmino

  5. A positive about playing so many young players is it’s easier to convince prospects they’re getting game time, I guess
