Deki’s revitalization playing in the more central playmaker role has been the biggest news of the season, and the best part is there’s really no telling what his ceiling is yet as he continues to grow into the role. I also like that he seems to have taken on more of a leadership responsibility this season.

My favourite characteristic of him is how positive he is in his play.
When he runs with the ball, runs off the ball, or makes passes (or looks for an opening to shoot), it’s all progressive and forward play. Makes it exciting whenever he picks the ball up.
