Just feel he needs to take more of a leadership role or adopt the confidence of some of our other players. Feel like he plays too safe at times. Would love to see him make more daring passes, shoot a bit more and and be more pro-active with his movement off the ball.

Camavinga is really underrated, both by fans and managers.
Fans still look at him as a prospect and not a top player that already had a important contribution in winning 2 UCL’s. Yeah he usually came from the bench, but his contribution often turned around crucial matches.
Despite this, people seems to focus only on his charisma or looks and the friendship FC bullshit, instead of how fucking good he is regardless of his age.
Ancelotti and Deschamps are even worse. They bench him because he takes some risks, completely ignoring his massive contributions to the game.
Yeah he can misplace a pass or get a yellow from time to time. But he moves the ball with great iq and can also break lines of pressure with a quick turnaround and dribble. Not to mention how he’s everywhere and recovers a lot of balls with his tackles.
Even with his flaws, less and less as he matures and grows, Camavinga is an elite dm and the best player we have to get the ball from the defense and build play.
And he’s a plesure to watch, he’s the most elegante and aesthetic dm i’ve seen in years. True heir to Fernando Redondo.

I rarely see such a multipurpose player with this amount of technical skills. His defensive work is also outstanding. Its a joy to watch him play.
